Tagayta Forest

Subject: Tagayta Forest Tue Feb 05, 2013 1:00 am

This is the packs top hunting territory, thanks to its sturdy trees and lucious bushes, ferns, and green grasses, it gives great hiding for other animals though they are easy to find and hunt down, their are many animals found here that you can eat and hunt, their are also many herbs here.

Land Animals In This Area:
Mule deer, cougars, black bear, red fox, ringtails, porcupine, racoons, weasels, muskrats, woodrats, pocket mice, jackrabbit, bobcat, leopard frogs, rock squirrles, shrews, garden snake, grass snake, gila monsters, spotted skunks, canyon tree frog, skunks, chipmunks, elk, and coyotes

Birds In This Area:
Hawks, spotted owls, pygmy owls, california condors, blue jays, cardinals, crows, red woodpecker, and sparrows

Kala stumbled through the forest with tears pouring down her face. She tripped over a rock and fell down heavily. Sobs racked her body as she lay there in the ferns. Her white and gray fur was fluffed up and she to breath as the tears ran faster and faster out of her amber eyes.

Deathbeat went over. He stood over her, stopping the rain from touching her pelt. While his own pelt was soaked. He frowned. "I don't want to go there again, because I'm frightened that if I did love someone again, I might loose them. And I don't want to loose you." he sighed as he watched the fae.

Kala laughed through her sobs. It was a bitter laugh. "I have loved and loved but never gotten anything back. I was always the weak pup that none cared about." she said. She slowly felt the tears stop and climbed back to her feet. "You cant lose what you dont have." she said as she pushed past Deathbeat. The rain slowly soaked her pelt and it made her ribs stick out showing that she was a bit thin. She sat down in a clearing and closed her amber eyes breathing in and out slowly.

Deathbeat stepped backwards as she went past him. He watched her, then turned away in complete silence. He shook his black pelt and padded away.

Kalas head tilted back. A mournful howl left her as she cried for what was lost and waht she would never gain.

Deathbeat was looking at the forest. It reminded him so much of his home. The place he was used to.

Deaths scent drifted throught the trees to the tracker. She stood and loped back to him. Skidding to a halt beside him she didnt speak. Her amber eyes gazed at the black brute before she pressed her head agaist his shoulder briefly and backing up a few steps before sitting down.

Death was imagining the faces of his family, friends and packmates around him. He could see them running around him and play fighting with each other. He thought he could hear their laughing and howls. He wanted to talk to them so badly, but they vanished when something touched him. He turned around, glancing at Kala. He was speechless.

"Im sorry." she said looking at the ground. The white fae knew that she had snapped at him in her pain but it didnt make it any better.

Kala shook her head. "Its not a good enough excuse. It happens whenever Im in pain or angry." she said ashamed. She looked at Beat and his blank face with her sad amber eyes.

Deathbeat stared at her with his golden brown eyes. He then glanced back at the trees around them. "It's fine." he repeated. "I've seen worse. Or should I say, I've done worse."

Kala moved to sit beside Beat. "You wanna talk about it?" she asked softly.

Deathbeat looked at her, then shook his head. "No." he replied. "I prefer to forget about my mistakes and past, and move on. Think about today and tomorrow." he added.

Kala nodded. "I understand." she said looking into the distance. Her amber eyes glazed over as she relived that day. She started to shake as she was the hunters and their guns. The sound of shots rang in her ears and she jumped knocking over Beat as she came out of the memory terrified.

"Hey, you okay?" he asked worriedly as he got back up to his feet. His golden brown eyes were wide with concern.

Kala nodded her white head. "Yeah. Not long ago hunters came into my birth packs camp and shot my parents." she whispered.

"Oh." Deathbeat sighed. Guess I'm not the only one with a horrible past, He thought. He was surprised how she didn't seem to care about telling him her past.
